Our journey began in the early 1960s when Mr. Charles Devenish, an Englishman with just 25 cents, arrived in Australia via Calcutta. Starting as a mess boy on a Norwegian freighter, he unknowingly shaped Perth’s jewellery industry.
In 1963, Mr. Devenish’s vision took root in Perth, Western Australia, where he founded an exclusive jewellery house. His passion for crafting jewellery masterpieces and sourcing the finest jewels set a standard of excellence.
In 1997, he chose Edward Eramanis as his successor. In 1999, Charles Edward Jewellers was born, blending past elegance with boundless creativity.
Today, Mr. Edward Eramanis, an Honorary Ambassador recognized by the Antwerp Diamond Council, leads our brand, known for exceptional craftsmanship and fine jewellery.
